Imagine an Aotearoa New Zealand where all our children, young people and mokopuna flourish
He oranga tamariki, he oranga whānau, he oranga tāngata
Nau mai, afio mai, welcome to the J R McKenzie Trust’s Peter McKenzie Project
UPDATE: Thanks for all the Ideas! You sent us over 250 Ideas on how to make our country one in which all children and families flourish. We are currently working through these to identify those that we think most closely align with our kaupapa, and which we are in the best place to assist. It’s taking a while, because we are also looking at how some Ideas might fit together. So we haven’t set a date by which everyone will be contacted.
Keep an eye on the website and Facebook page for updates.
What changes can we make that will enable kiwi families and whānau to flourish?
What can we do to make sure all our children and mokopuna have equal choices and opportunities for their futures?
How do our society’s systems contribute to some of us living in poverty and hardship? How do we improve these systems?
We want to contribute to this kaupapa and see a reduction in the number of children, whānau and families living in poverty. The Peter McKenzie Project is about the long-term.
